What is the rating for acing every hole? I assume this depends on what a rated player shoots the same course. But what if all holes were par 5s and that matched what a 1000-rated player would shoot?

I've thought about this too. I think 1090-100 is about the max for a human, but humans have been proven time and time again that we underestimate our limits. I'm thinking that we'll continue to get better athletes, which will push the group to improve, which will lead to more money, which means more advanced discs and different courses, which could all lead to someone getting into the 1090s. But we're not there yet.

In the next 5-10 years, I could see someone reaching 1070. Paul now, Eagle if he gets his mental game into attack mode like Paul can, Calvin if he decides that playing disc golf is better than making tons of money as a chemical engineer, etc. But even that'd be hard.

I would think that the highest rating possible depends on the quirks of how the ratings formula handles extremely low scores and/or extremely high or low SSAs.

Nah... if SSA were 90 (18 x 5) each stroke would be worth about 4 points- that would make acing each hole around 1290.

On the other hand if SSA is 40 each stroke would be worth about 15 and acing each hole would be around 1330.

Makes perfect sense...

Pretty easy to assume as long as the avg rating of Paul's competitors continue to rise and as long as he continues to beat them, his rating will go up.

I will forever hold that Ken is the best ever, but that seems to be the consensus today.

I would disagree. I don't think Ken in his prime would beat Paul... Paul is still reigning supreme in a world of disc golf that is filled with much stiffer competition, and more of it.
But this is a different thread.

Who is the better hitter, Yelich or Cobb? Who could crack Rivera in the bottom of the 9th? What if they were playing in 1890?
