I don't play disc golf anymore that I'm aware of, so this may be moot.

I bag Scales. I bag Rocs. At least I did back when I was allowed to leave the house.

I don't own a Zone that I'm aware of. I own a VIP Harp that I purchased soley because the stamp said "Kannel" and I thought that was cool, but I've never thought to actually throw the thing.

What am I missing between the Scale and my 5 Roc that I'm not aware of?

Zone is way more OS than a Scale. I find Scales to be more glideless than massively overstable. And my main thrower Scale has been in my bag for 4 years -- it is pretty dead straight at this point.

Zone is faster than a Scale.

Zone is more OS than even my beefiest Champion Rancho Roc. And FHs better. And skips better.

And I FH roll it.
Mostly, Zone is an overstable utility disc.

I throw my Rocs and Scales/Wizards WAY more than I throw a Zone.

I'm guessing your OLFs are Quantum? Says SOFs in your last post, just curious if it was a different [later] Sirius run or QOLFs...either way why the subtle switch?

I had put one QOF in the bag for that round. I had sortof forgotten how they are similar but different -- more flip to straight, finish straight. SOFs have (once seasoned) more turn and fade.

What I needed is a fresher SOF, and will have one for the next round. My "fresher" SOF has been in the bag for 1.5 years or so at this point, and my "flippier" one is probably at 4-5 years.

Plus I have been playing more short, treed, technical courses (theyre the ones that are open) so I need more fairway options, and don't really need Destroyers.

Also, putting my trickshot flippy 1996 Ice Bowl Ontario DX Roc back in. For anyone who says DX Rocs get too flippy to be useful, they should watch this thing fly magic lines.
