Most of the fairways are relatively flat 250-300 ish ft wooded par 3s; a few are over 400 ft. Some holes are open with some wind; most are sheltered. Low ceilings are common. Rollers are possible on some holes, but the vast majority of players choose air shots on all holes. An errant throw can careen into some rough patches, but a seasoned player will probably not double bogey anything on the course (well, maybe a couple holes). I throw putters from just about half of the tees, and fairways from the rest (I am not a big midrange guy). No OB per se I guess, but water comes into play on two of the holes, and a 20 ft cliff on another. Hole #1, in particular, is a terrible one for a person to throw their first ever shot. The left side of the fairway is a water channel going under the dam, and swallows hundreds of discs yearly. Our group will either start #1 from a tee placed closer to the pin, or skip #1 entirely.

Marshall St is about 30 minutes from me. I just checked their website. They have more than 30 x-out Grooves available! I could hand them out, saying that these are speed 13 discs that no living human being has ever been able to figure out. Of course they will be perfect for us!

Um...well...I don't think I want to do that. I Agree that their putters are good throwers, but I have used these forums previously to express my aggravation with dealing directly with Gateway Discs Sports. For more details, see my published works in the Wizard thread.

Innova I'd say the Dart. Discraft I'd say the Roach (if you can get past name/stamp). Pricier baseline but shouldn't be hard to resell the Ion, Anode, Envy and Atom all come in Electron. Basically a lot of companies make good throwing putters now, I'd just find one in a good base plastic that has a nice bulk price.

I am happy to say that the group will be outfitted with shiny new Neutron Atoms and Proxys, with some Neutron Relays thrown in as prizes. We're doing it up right.

Thank you to Aim For The Chains and MVP Disc Sports who stepped in and offered to assist in making this event 120% better than yours truly originally planned.

I'll be sure to update everyone in a couple of weeks at the conclusion of our shindig, but am just happy already with the good vibes ahead of the actual event. Disc on everyone.

You may be correct. I see them listed on Inova's site but I contacted a couple of dealers and stock is very limited. Thanks for the heads up. (I ordered the six that I found and I guess I won't be giving any more away.)

As a new guy, that would be a helluva MVP starter kit. Another batch of converts coming up soon...

You guys and your Leopards....sigh. Both the Stratus and Glide are better. Once they start turning the Glide over, then a Leopard would be in order.
