Talking Great Putters!!

The last 4 years I've been putting with Aviars. 20 minutes in my back yard with my new Anode and Ion.... Lets just say i think the time of the Aviar for me is coming to an end.

Let this just be another thread complimenting these great discs. Cant wait to get out this weekend and really spend some time with my new friends!

Maybe you guys can help me out. I received a MVP disc in a lot that has DM on the bottom.

What is DM?

What is DM?
Disc Mini?

Midrange Driver?

Dungeon Master?

Dark Matter?

I really don't know, just bored...

I fell for their Putters the moment I gripped them too..

Welcome to the club, things are about to change, just wait till you try the axis and vector. Guaranteed between the two you will find one you like more than your current midranges.

These are all just generalizations, but here is a good idea of how MVP might fly for you:

Midranges
Vector is similar to Ching Roc (Slightly Stable)
Axis is Straighter Buzzz (Straight to slightly stable)
Tangent is Comet with slightly less glide and more wind resistance and control (Very Neutral)
Tensor is wind fighter, great for sweeping fades or headwinds (Over stable)

Fairways
Amp is like a river/leopard as far as stability has good turn that pans out nice for a flat landing
Volt is its own disc all together, most versatile of their fairways, -1.5 turn(hss) and 2 fade(lss) fades with a lot of forward penetration, adds good distance for a fairway
Shock is like a seasoned predator right out of the box, or like a super beefy 11x eagle i used to have.. this thing is your wind fighter, great in headwind and reliable fade. Will not turn over.

I prefer most their discs in eclipse if available, except for the putters i just go with what feels best.

Good luck

Hey thanks in4d! I was just about to ask about the other discs. Going today to see what I can find locally. Then online if I need to. I am so impressed I need a full line up now

"DM" might just be some guys initials. Look on the overmold; the name of the disc should be molded right into the rim.

Either I have the weirdest MVP fairways or I have too much power for them (and I doubt it's the latter). My Amp throws like a Roadrunner or Mamba. Stupid understable. My Volt is one of the most inconsistent, unpredictable discs I've ever thrown. Sometimes it throws like a Teebird, and other times like a flippy Valk. My Shock hyzer flips beautifully; I would not trust it into the wind. Basically, other than the Shock, I'm pretty disappointed in MVP's driver lineup.

Love the Axis and the Ion though. Everybody asks about the Axis when I throw it on a 275' frozen rope. One of the straightest discs in my bag.
