soft proton/ neutron discs do not puddle top in minutes in the heat. nor days.

all mvp discs become softer on a hot sunny day, the plastic feels grippier, thats it.
Actually, they practically turn into a pile of gummy mush. I had a soft neutron Ion that I could hold on one side, while the other side would be bending under it's own weight. It became so soft in this heat that it was basically unusable. Perhaps they are way too sensitive to that name, and anyone talking negatively about their coveted frisbees.

As far as the term "fanboy" is concerned; it is pretty accurate to describe some of the folks here. If they take it as an insult, then that is their problem.

Easy there, Hammer. You've got one on the line.

I've the same experience with the Soft Proton Ion you had. It felt like I could push my finger through the flightplate with some pressure. I couldn't, but it was still unnerving.

Awesome, thanks everyone for the responses!!

I will most defiantly be getting a Volt, Amp, and Shock very soon. I just lost my eclipse Tangent sunday, it got stuck 100+ feet in a pine tree . The Ion has been an awesome little disc i find my self driving with it more than i thought i would. I have an Anode as well in Eclipse. Bot my Anode and Ion are the soft plastic. Which is why they got so gummy i am sure. I think i will pick up the medium plastic. I have an Axis as well, still learning this disc. It has not won over my 10th anny buzzz yet but i need to play more to understand the differences. Thanks again guys!!

Anymore advice? I will be sure to listen!

yeah, use the search function, or better yet click on the MVP tag on top of the 'discs' forum and do some research of your own. this topic has been covered dozens of times in great detail, and nothing has changed since those discussions.

Puddle tops are great for if you get thirsty on the course.

as a joke i want to get a soft neutron and purposely warp the top using boiled water and suction to turn it into a legit bowl, then post pictures of myself eating cereal out of it
