I've had my Octothorpe since January of 2018 and it still looks great. Super comfortable and durable. Before I got this bag I was always eyeing up other bags or carts as a potential improvement on what I had at the time. Since I've received my pound bag the thought hasn't even crossed my mind.

Nice bag i think that for "just" $25 more the Haul is the one to go for.

How much bigger does those long big sidepockets on the Haul feel vs the Octo?

I would from the Rough have to go back to look for that bag, the colors would blend in and I would forget the bag, I do use black but the white Zipper helps the all black bag stand out.

Looks like you now can get the Octo with the wider long sidepockets from the Haul for $10 extra. ..

anyone have that "wider Octo" ?

The Carlton don΄t have the long sidepockets at all, so that would be hard.
it΄s not the bigger haulpockets you can ad to the Octo. . just the long sidepockets that is wider on the Octohaul than they are o the Octo

Haul pockets for a Carlton would be intriguing. Though, I haven't really felt the need for more storage in mine.
