Default Get premium plastic back grippy again??

I've got a beat to a living pulp neutron trace that is super duper grippy on the entire thing. Spent hours throwing FH rollers, tomahawks onto pine straw, thumbers onto dirt roads, etc to get it to this point. However, on a few spots mainly on the shoulder it is like too worn and has lost some of its grip-it feels really smooth to the tough, but not tacky, just like slick-smooth. How do I get this back to the tackiness that it once had?? TIA

I already washed it off, including with dish soap and that didn't work. It's squeaky clean but just has those really stressed spots

No. Not if you just wipe it down (says the graduate in Chemistry).

No. Wipe it around with a cotton ball. It will evaporate almost instantly. Don't get it on your stamp if you care about that sort of thing.

Alright sweet sounds good. Could I use nail polish remover or should I go with actual pure acetone?

Nail polish remover essentially *IS* acetone, and the "extra strength" nail polish remover is pure acetone...
