Unfortunately subtlety and nuance don’t carry through in simple text.

OK, are you going to continue with the ad hominem comments or are you going to actually talk about the topic?

This can’t be accidental.

Maybe you should learn to tell a joke? I've read lots of your posts in various threads and there's definitely a pattern forming:

Respond to or say something in an... interesting...manner.

Another user responds, generally in a perfectly rational way.

You respond in a very thin skinned and pouty manner.

Another user responds.

You attack said user for not taking a joke.

Second, even if a mando was an option the tree/pole would have to be taller then the treetops in order to tell if the disc made or missed the mando.
A triple mando would keep players from throwing "over the top". Personally, I'm against mandos except where they are used for player/spectator safety. If a route is available, let the players take it if they want...as long as it doesn't cause safety issues.

Off topic about mandos.....

2017 Jonesboro Open Hole 11 is a good example of how to use a mando. The hole is intended to be a dogleg left, no mando. The first day, Simon threw sideways off the teepad to go over an adjacent fairway and turn right towards the basket. Next day, no mando and other players took that line. Third day, the TD instituted a mando to keep players from taking that route and possibly injuring someone on the adjacent fairway. That's a good use of a mando.

There was a recent tournament where a triple mando was installed on the 18th hole, but because it was not in the caddy book, the mando wasn't official. Players went around it and some throws were higher than the mando would have allowed. I'm not sure why there was a mando as it didn't seem to do anything but control where the players could throw....it didn't seem to be for any safety reason. That's the kind of mando that gives them a bad name....a mando for the sake of having a mando.

Maybe you're not as funny as you think you are.
