Default Hole of the day Sheboygan Quarry #9

So as a beginner I finally think things are starting to look up, I changed up my grip and my backhand form slightly and got my first Ace today as well as my best round of the season at par (playing everything as 3) things are starting to look up as hopefully so will the weather!

Hit#5 at Loutsis Park 4/9/18. RHBH from 180' away. It's a fairly technical hole. It was my 9th or 10th ace in 40 years of golfing.

Ace pace is not slowing down from last year's 9.

3rd on the year. Finally got one at Lakeview in Middleton, a little pitch and putt I played all winter long. Tons of metal, but nothing stuck.

Hit hole 5 today. 220 or so, slight uphill, trees early force a big hyzer. 3rd ace with my Brock Samson Respecti.

Only witnesses were 2 kids on the bike path. They didn't seem impressed.

I've been trying to get -9 there all year and can't do it. Hit -8 4 times. After this ace I was -6 after 5. Then finished par, par, par, par.

We saw somebody ace hole 5 at Hambrick yesterday. It was incredible, this guy's lie was right near us on hole 4 and I said to my brother how it would be awesome to ace this hole. Hole 5 is an elevated basket on a pyramid, about 6 feet tall and 270ish from the tee.

We were teeing the next hole and the dude behind us threw it right in the basket. HOWEVER, it was his second or third shot from the tee (still an amazing shot) and only my brother saw it as I was turned around and heard the chains.

I just wanted to share, because I'll probably never see that again! It was one for the books.

Hit my first a while ago this year. 230' downhill with extreme OB island. Do or die if you don't lay up. Last round I hit metal 3 times and the 4th time in my last 2 rounds.

Default KMGDC

My third ace at Knobley Mt. DGC, I believe, and my first on hole #2. Red Tees, original 9 hole layout, 185', uphill, narrow lane, low ceiling. I've come close, but never hit it until today. And it lead to a bogey free round. I got the ace on #2, a par on #3, and birdied everything else. Bettered the course record by 3. Crazy, great round off the tee! My longest putt was less than 15'.

Basket it hard to see, but if you follow the stair rail in the left center of the pic to the bottom, it basically points right at the basket

Why am I so bad at seflies??? Or do I always look this psycho?

2nd of the year for me today. The Hill #9 with a Moonshine Warship. Nothing amazing 201' in a solo practice round. But I was excited.
