Default Storm vs. Core

So from everything I've heard, the core sounds like a storm; lil further then a buzzz, holds whatever line...
Anyone thrown both and can compare? Thanks

Yea, i don't see a resemblance between the two. I would say that the storm is quite a bit longer than a buzzz and the core really isnt much long than a buzzz and has a distinct mid range feel to it

Thanks for the response. Does the storm feel like a mid for you? How much further is the core to the buzzzz and the storm to the core?

I don't know about anyone else, but the Storm did not feel like what I'm looking for in a mid. The rim was very shallow. It was a tweener, not exactly a mid but not exactly a fairway driver, either. It was either a really long mid or a really short driver. I really could never figure out what to do with it. I guess I wasn't the only one since it wasn't in production very long.

I honestly don't think the Core is longer than a Buzzz, or better in fact, but i would I would suggest throwing which one is more comfortable in your hands because they are essentially the same disc.
I only know about 2 people who throw Storms and one uses it because he lacks a little bit of distance with mids. The other has crazy distance and uses it for more control over shots that many would throw a fairway driver on.

Personally, there aren't many shots that fall between a Roc/Buzzz or Teebird/TL for me

The storms rim is only a smidge shorter than the buzzzez, but I get what your saying. I just hear everyone raving about cores- the main rave being that they're longer than a buzzz. With that logic, people should love the storm. It didn't make my bag cause I didn't really need a longer buzzz so I want to make sure I don't buy a foriegn made storm.

They are completely different in feel. Cores feel much like a Buzzz but the Storms have more of a fairway driver feel. I can throw a Storm further than my Core, but the Core is much more accurate.

I would agree with threeputt on the storm being a tweener. Much farther than the buzzz, also I think the core is not longer than a buzzz.

the ESP, no. You'd have to find someone. I could get you a z storm in the 160's or a x in most weights.
