Default What is the best Gateway putter? Or Other?

I just know that I really like the plastic that Gateway has for their putters, so give your input on the best putter they make. If you have a vote for another brand, that's Ok, give it a shoutout too. I really need to get better at putting and want to make sure I start out by getting a solid disc.

I'd just go with a medium Wizard, but the Warlock and Voodoo are also good from what I understand. I might avoid the Magic right away because isn't not as wind resistant as the others.

A lot of people will give you better information than me, but I prefer the Wizard. It is my main(and only) putter.

Unfortunately I haven't tried any others, so I couldn't tell you anything else from experience.

A putter is a putter. It doesn't make much difference under 50 feet. For Gateway most people will tell you a Wizard, Warlock, or Voodoo. I personally throw a Voodoo. Other brands have comparable ones too. Magnet, Aviar, etc. Pick a well known name, stick with it, and practice. There isn't a magic putter that makes every putt for you.

I have a Wizard, Warlock, and Voodoo. Any close it doesn't matter, just come materials feel better to you than others. I like the Warlock the most because it feels more comfortable to me than the Wizard (Big bead on bottom) and it flies straighter than the Wizard. The Voodoo seems to just die on me on long putts/short mid-range shots and the Warlock for me is more versatile.

I have had every Gateway Putter in every plastic and the Soft Wizard is by far my favorite putter perks of living close to the Gateway shop.

Not enough wind resistance.

I disagree that all putters work the same inside even 30' let alone 50'. Perhaps when it's calm you can get similar accuracy with most putters, but play one day when there's a good 15 to 20mph wind and compare a Wizard to a Putt'r (or Magic or Rattler, etc.) at 30' and tell me there isn't a difference. I literally did just that, which is why I recommend stable putters exclusively. My first tournament was the last day I threw my X Putt'r and it was one of the best disc golf decisions I've ever made.

I'm sure someone will chime in with some local or known pro that uses <insert flippy putter here> and has success, but realize that they also are much, much better putters than us and I guarantee you they could putt that well with just about any disc.
