I've thrown the Halo before. Really liked it, but it seemed to overlap my Boss, Nuke & O-Lace.
So I'd offer those three as possibilities.

Ballista came to mind first.

I'm not where you are at for distance but... the Nuke is less stable than a Boss and pretty similar possibly less stable than a Halo. If it's in the running and a flat top is desired I have yet to see a Discraft glow disc that didn't come out with a nice flat top.

I will try a ballista out. Nuke is a little too US for what I want, at least from the ones I have thrown.

When I throw my halos for max d they are on pretty much the steepest hyzer I can throw full power, they flip up then lock in to a nice gradual turn. So I definitely don't want anything less stable. Shrykes are almost perfect, but I have to power down a smidge which is hard to judge.

I think a boss could be my jam but I feel like I haven't gotten a good one. I might try pro plastic.

Try to find flat Prodiscus Ultrium RAZERi. Flat ones are more stable than the ones which have dome. Maybe little shorter than Halo.
