I had a chance to play this course with the designer before all the holes were completed on our way to see The Dead in Greensboro. This hole really stood out as a great mix of elevation and woods, and Russell said he wanted a finishing hole that could really swing a score one way or the other in competitive play.

It was a tighter fairway then of course, and there was only one teepad marked with flags, but I think I threw a teebird or eagle that hit a tree and deflected back into the fairway, then I threw a huge spike hyzer over the inside corner of the trees with a pro Pig that clipped the basket.

Def one of those courses I'd like to go back and see how it's developed over the years.

It's in NC. My favorite course in the Triad. yellow and blue are the same on this hole. I don't think anything on the course signage is actually marked yellow now.

18 is straight for a bit from the long tee then curves almost continuously to the left from the red tee and finishes in the open. Great hole for RHBH to throw a hyzer from the short tee.
