Other than the blue/red first runs, Ions have only been around for a little over a year. Most of the overmold issues were with the first run of unstamped, full weight, black overmold/colored core soft Ions. The first "semi proto" run of mediums that were all blue had some discs with overmold issues as well. Since then there have been very few discs without nice, big, symmetrical beads.

There is no way to tell for sure whether you have an early run soft or an unstamped soft Ion from the next run that had better beads. Getting an Ion with the hotstamp is the best way to ensure you will not get an early run soft or medium.

One of them is stamped, yet it still seems smaller, probably due to the wear of being used so much. Which was what I was asking.

Picking up another softy on friday from a friend. I've been looking for a yellow one at all the local shops but couldn't find any, and my pal just sent me a text saying he got ahold of one.

Can we get a release date for the glows yet, or are you guys not done torturing us?

Which is likely to come first, glow Ions or a new mold?
