I haven't seen it since it was brand new, but I remember thinking, "Huh. That's...interesting." Kind of like Leila Arboretum's hole #1 (which I also haven't seen since it was brand-new) where the last 80 feet jut off in a funky direction with an impossibly narrow fairway, downhill, and the only way to access it is if your drive (or most likely your subsequent pitch-up) lands on a 3' x 3' patch of ground. Not nearly as bad as the Leila example, but kind of like that.

Clearly the rating does not match the review.

Reviewer's page lists two courses played and two 5-star reviews.
I agree about the review. It was thorough enough and he wrote an equally detailed one for Justin Trail's Big Brother. I'm not sure what to think about the Telemark review though. All I know is I'm not driving all the way up there to find out.

If I remember correctly, the Telemark resort burnt down; so there has been no one to maintain it for years; which is partly the reason why it was marked unplayable; i.e. it became in such disrepair that I think there were many who thought it no longer even existed.

It was in nice shape, when I played there. I happened to throw a disc on the second story roof top of the lodge!!

A younger man than myself, who was in our playing group; did a death defying climb to retrieve said disc!!

I'm sure a lot of members have played far more courses than they've marked as played, particularly if they've been playing several years prior to setting up a profile.

Still other lurk for years and don't bother to set up a profile until they want to either write a review or post something.

Oh, and he's vice president of the park's board.
But it's so clean! And with 4 of the 9 holes under 200 feet and only 1 over 250, you're bound to feel good about yourself afterward.

I also got my wife and 78 year-old father-in-law out for around and it was a great place for them to play a novice round.
Yup... slightly longer than a pitch and putt... give it a 5 smh

Wait. 78-year-olds aren’t our target audience? Then what’s all this been for?

Let the onslaught begin...

We've discussed the subject ad nauseum. All I can say is to give thought to how you vote, and how you use your votes.

I remember playing that course. It's not terrible but certainly no 5 either IMHO. I mean I guess you could argue that it could not possibly be improved within the space that is available.

I think that's the logic implored on UDisc. It seems every course has a 4.0+ rating on that site.
