I have about ten putters, max. Not going to walk that far. Maybe if I had 25-50 of them.

Brodie asked Simon for the rules for the challenge via text and Simon texted back “no rules!” That was on Brodie’s video.

That’s why I like Simon. He’s also not going to plan out every detail — number of discs, weather, where to put water, best basket to use — because that’s not Simon it seems.

I'm guessing he doesn't want to be forever labeled as... "Simon Says".

The interesting thing I've noticed - a LOT of people complaining about their arms hurting after trying this, at least a few people on the Central Ohio FB group said they quit early because their arms were wearing down. I think that goes to show just how much people are underutilizing their legs when they throw. My only soreness after this was in the lower 1/3 of my quads.

Also - super happy I caught that back2back on camera. Wish the lens flare hadn't made it so foggy.

Also, probably a lot of people that aren't doing enough field work. Some of them are probably lucky if some of them didn't do some damage to their arms.

i set up a mini challenge for myself yesterday for putting practice. i started at 15' and moved back 5' each time to 40'. with 2 putters it took 2 rounds to feel a little tired. i breezed through the first round with 6 misses but had a hard time with 40' the second. very good exercise since i have been off work for 2 weeks. i think today i'll start throwing @ 50' and move back 10' each time and see if i can get to 110' before it gets dark.

Eh, maybe.. the guy I did it with, Ryan Rau, throws regular field work, lots of rounds, and has enough pop to put discs out in the 550 range. He was complaining about arm pain. I really think its in the use of the legs so that the hips are getting nice and open and the arm just flows through.
