Default Live Coverage vs. Next-Day Edited Coverage

Curious to get some actual numbers on this topic from the DGCR community.

The question is simple enough: Do you prefer live coverage of an event OR next-day edited coverage?

If it was done like DDs coverage of the Scandanacian open (I believe) I liked that, quality commentary from a pro disc golfer. Allot of useful information and perspective.

Otherwise I'm voting for next day edited. Cut that round time down by hours, please!

Live if it is done with a proper budget.

Next day edited because its actually realistic with disc golf budgets.

I prefer next day edited, don't care about long walks or short putts. Even better when there's some form of commentary.

I prefer live because I'm more apt to watch it live than taped. But that's just my view on any watching any sport. If I can't watch live, I can live with knowing the results and catching highlights if available (1-2 minutes, not 10-20+).

I will watch live coverage, depending on what I'm doing at the time. But it is very time consuming and boring to me. I'm generally doing something else and only half paying attention to the feed. I much prefer the next day edited versions, because I can see all the shots in 20-40 Minutes and go do something else. Plus the live coverage quality really leaves something to be desired, because of the technology and budget constraints they are operating under.

Next day. I don't want to spend 4 hours to watch 10 minutes of actual throwing. Not to mention, goofy commentary.

I wonder if there's an age component in the choices, i.e., older want live versus younger want edited?

I think you are going to find that a vast majority will pick "Next Day" simply because we aren't getting properly produced live coverage.

Maybe. But I'll take poor live coverage over excellently edited all the time. As JC pointed out, it's old news if it's not live. I'd rather watch my own discs flying than watch flights that might be better on video a day or more later.
