Some positive press for and recognition of disc golf.

Interesting concept, I can see their revenue based point of view.
It'll be interesting to see if they can coexist... could cost them some ball golfers.

That may be the best written disc related article I have ever read.

It definitely is. The last one in the Star Tribune was written by a sports columnist who obviously disdained the sport. Of course, that article probably got a lot of people to check out what disc golf was even though it was shown in a bad light.

I know a few people from this forum who had played at both of those courses had e-mailed the writer and I wonder if any one of their comments made the article?

That would be awesome.....until you're going to throw in your putt and get blind sided by a golf ball to the cranium....

^We play SOOOOO much faster than bolfers that there is very very rarely anybody on the tee waiting for you to finish. The only issue I have had with stray balls is when they put the pin right next to the driving range fence with a huge gaping hole in it. Scares the crap outta me (especially with all the stray balls laying around). Have you played a course like this? It is actually very enjoyable if the course is set up well. Many bolf courses have lights, as well, which adds the possibility of playing at night without taping anything to your disc.

There is a new disc golf course in FT Myers on a ball golf course. It is 8000' long, cost $6.00+tax, that includes a cart, and you must wear a collard shirt and golf atire. Its already in the directory, I'm waiting for the heat to go away before I get down there and play it!

Diamond Reviewer arrogance, or just mighty nice of you to help him make up his mind?
Typo I assume, but funny nonetheless.
