^thats what they are saying. Although MMMV due to arm speed. But the shimmer FD2 is pretty darn beefy and almost overlaps with the FD3 I bag. If it is at least straighter than the retooled FD2s we got last year its a start.

So can someone link some info as to whether or not this is a new retool for 2019? So we have the FD2 which IIRC shared a mold piece with a banshee, then the FD2 retooled which was what, a teebird bottom with an anhyzer top? Is this different?

My understanding is yes. Haven’t seen though if it was an actual change in the mold itself or a “process” change that allows the disc to mold up a particular way.

It says "this is the very first release of the FD2 with the renewed mold" on the InnovaStore pages in Finnish. Sounds to me its not just the 2018 Shimmer/S-line protos mold in Color Glow.

Just weird that they keep calling it the same. Call it a FDx instead.

The retooled one didn’t have the anhyzer top, did it?

The initial release was a prototype and from what I've seen, they are often tweaked before the full production release. Sounds like this will finally be the FD2 as we will know it from now on.

It didn't, I believe it had the same top as the FD3

In terms of stability, where does this new fd2 lie? I spent all season trying to replace a couple beat in star teebirds, they’re far too beefy for me to enjoy of the shelf during rounds. I have a d line fd that I’ve taken to throwing in place of my leapord, every time I throw it I’m amazed with the thing, so I’m pondering going the fd route this season, keep my d line, perhaps pick up one of the new night strikes to replace a bead teebird, then this fd2 for windier fairway shots? Am I reading correctly that its more os than a teebird? Less so than a thunderbird?

What’s going to be even more confusing is how the new Swedish driver fits in with the fd and fd2 part 3.
