Default Lemon Lake on 9/24, Anyone else???

Making my pilgrimage around the lake from Michigan to Wisconsin and plan on playing the Lemon Lake courses in Indiana from 2pm till dark on Thursday. wondering if anyone else wants to play! Maybe a local out there?

Also suggestions on which ones I should do? Reading reviews but think some simple answers might help best!

thanks!

I've heard that the gold/silver course is ridiculously long and tough. I've also heard the newest one (can't remember which) is not quite as good as the others.

Play Red & Silver (Gold) for sure.
Play Valparaiso when you are in the area too. IMO, that is more of a "must play" than any of the Lemon Lake courses, but the Lemon Lake complex is more of a must visit than any single course.

Thanks.

I actually sat in the lot of the Valpo one last year on my way around during a torrential down pour. played only two holes. Plan on hitting that one early in the morn on Thursday.

red and blue are nice..white is a short ace race course and silver and gold are crazy hard...blue has a nasty creek that plays on a few holes but challengeing non-the less...you should wait for oct 11. to come down for the HOMIE B-tier tournament..I would love to meet up with you and play but I live about and hour and half away from lemon lake and not able to go on thursday..!! have fun playing it though!

Get a hold of Bart, great guy and one of main designers http://www.discgolfflymart.com/ He'll show you around if available; or possibly hook you up with someone who is. Gold/Silver is awesome; we played silver and were thrilled with it; now they've had another month plus to work on it. IMOH Red (which is the original) is second best. Blue a little more wide open; and a good course; but I believe the pros are going to find it a bit lacking. White is short, but nice. Has a few interesting features, including a whole with a bath tub near the pin; if you're in, you gotta buy the beer.
