You have a while to plan, before you can take a day off for a solar eclipse.

A lunar eclipse isn't a real big deal but, if you're going to be out looking at it, why not be throwing discs? (Assuming you like glow golf, of course).

We're expecting up to a foot of snow over 24 hours on Saturday, so I'm probably gonna have to pass.

This is a cool idea, thanks for posting!

I'll have to keep an eye on the cloud cover. We are supposed to get a little rain/snow mix on Sunday, but that will have largely cleared out by the evening.

Same, but I will go outside and look at it if it isn't cloudy and I'm not too drunk forgetful.

The solar eclipse mention reminds me that for the 2017 eclipse, the center line passed 3 miles from our course; we had about 1.5 seconds less than the maximum totality. So no travel; all I had to do was walk outside. About two dozen disc golfers did travel here, though, and play before and after. It was incredible.

And that the next solar eclipses pass near, or through, Selah Ranch, and I need to get to work on my 2024 reservations.

i went up to Nebraska for the Solar Eclipse and it was one of the most fun DG trips i've taken. which was impressive cuz i didn't really play any excellent courses on the way, though Kelley Park in McCook and Cottonmill in Kearney were pretty good. good thing i actually enjoy bagging pitch & putt 9 holers.

i'm hoping we're not too cloudy on sunday for the lunar eclipse. looks like it could go either way

In Sep 2015, a few friends and I did a glow round in Austin during the lunar eclipse. not surprisingly, we were not the only ones out on the course that beautiful night. We were however, the only group playing Dark Side Of The Moon.
