Could even the dryness causing some slipping. I need to find some really comfy winter gear that does not constrict but keeps me warm, but that's another thread.
So I typically score better there in the winter. Lines open up as the leaves fall and I can often salvage par if I let shots bleed into the rough. In the summer, I'm usually pitching out, if I can even find my disc. With that said, I think Ice Bowl conditions were pretty bad as far rain/sleet/snow.

Another huge difference is the fields. Everyone plays shorts at the Ice Bowl, so you have touring pros on that layout. Versus just rec players playing the shorts for league. So I'm sure that has a massive impact on ratings.

if you're using the dgcr app, you can change the pin your playing to while imputing your score (long press on the distance in android).

Having double checked a list of Ratings for each of the courses around me, it seems like most of the courses seem to have a higher DGCR rating by about 20 to 40 points.

I tried to find out if there were any similarities between courses based on the deviation in ratings, but I couldn't find anything.

I did find that Bradley Center and the Blues at Bradford Park in particular, the DGCR ratings for the different scores were only off the PDGA ratings by 1 or 2 points.

So clearly courses with "Brad" in the name means something.
