Riverside is in DIRE need of a redesign. To call the course stale would be an understatement.

Here's what I can say for certain about Riverside. New baskets (thanks to Innova) & new tee pads (thanks TBD). There is still some red tape holding up the works, but as I understand it, it's just a matter of time. August 12th is approaching.

If you or anyone you know is interested in helping at Pro Master Worlds, please check out: http://www.rivercitydiscgolf.com/ for info.

If any of you are in SW MI on 8/20 I could really use some support with my Ace Race at Lake Township Park. All proceeds are going to Park improvements and the course redesign such as concrete pads and signs:

Thanks for looking!

New baskets alone at Riverside would be a great, great thing. Pads are also a nice touch, but I don't use any sort of run-up, so they aren't critical to me.

Either way, great news!

Tower is great. The new Johnson layout w/ new pads (which required a TON of landscaping/terra construction) and Discatchers for Pro Worlds Masters this year is awesome as well. Grand Rapids just keeps getting to be better and better for DG.

Anyone play that new course in Kalamazoo...Spring Valley Park yet? Looks like it was just installed or is being installed. Anyone here have the inside scoop on it? I'd like to go check it out...

Not bad for the property Larry had to work with. Definitely not his best course (ViRA, Oshtemo, Albion) but it's okay. Shorter than those courses. Some cool shots, some strange holes. I've played it once and would play it again, but not very often. HINT: Should play with someone who has been there, gets a little confusing at times.

Played this new niner in Melvindale.... meh. Seems reasonable, but quite honestly, the only reason I'll play there again is that it's less than 5 miles from where I work. After a day at work, I can get here, play 18 holes, and be on my way home by the time I'd be able to simply tee off at any other course.

That doesn't look too terribly far from where I work when I am in Novi.
Next time I'm there we'll have to play.

So apparently Gladstone MI is getting a 27 hole championship level course, designed by Eric McCabe!!! The UP is slowly turning into a disc golf destination.

On the other end, in Ironwood, tomorrow, with permission from the city, our little club is holding our league at Norrie Park, using 9 baskets from Mountain Man's to play the proposed beginner friendly course layout, and hopefully this will be another step in inspiring the city to pull the switch on the project.

Also I redesigned hole 4 at Mt. Zion to be an uphill par 5, which Stardoggy would be proud of, as it reminds me of Highbridge Granite no. 18, albeit a bit shorter.
