Not sure if many people would say it's a "good" hole but no8 at Idlewild Open? Tight short dogleg left off the tee, then if you've thrown the perfect anhy FH off the tee, you can attack the tunnel shot finishing with a sharp dogleg right to the basket for a chance at eagle.

A couple of the par 5s at Iron Hill are pretty good too i just can't remember which of the 3.

Anyone think of a good par 5 where that happens?
How about Milo 14 East (Beaver State Fling)?

Lol.

“Shut your mouth, or show up at the course.!”

Not sure what Nikko is reading that has him upset. Twitter, Instagram? I would hope pros don’t spend time reading forums. It’s always going to be a net negative. Probably better to stay off social media.

Paige concurred with the impact of negativity that comes from reading social media.

I get it. It doesn’t take much of that stuff to start getting in someone’s head.

I can appreciate Nikko, even if I wouldn't want to play on his card in a big event. I do think he'd be fun as hell to play a casual round with. He says what's on his mind without reservation or sugar coating it.

Really enjoyed Kristin's interview. She really comes off as having confidence, with a genuine respect for her competition. That monster putt gave her goosebumps... love it!

I'd expect Cat will be the hometown fave among the spectators.

I talked to him for awhile at BG Ams flymart the year he was with MVP. He seemed like such a chill guy, that it's kinda amazing he gets that wound up on the course.

Still bag the FlyLife Motion i bought from him that night.

I spoke to him in the parking lot at Black Locust, one year after DGLO, and agree, he's pretty chill. But geez, he can bring a card down.

I get that he plays with passion and has a competitive drive. Players like Ricky, Eagle, KJ have just as much passion and competitive fire. Don't tell me Ricky and KJ don't play with emotion. They just channel it better.

James and Calvin, and McBeth have a different temperament altogether. They feel it every bit as deeply, but don't wear their emotions out on their sleeve.

That said, I still think Nikko's good for the game. He adds color to events and spices things up.
Diversity is about more than just ethnicity.

He's like McEnroe or John Daly

I really dig the idea that locals, from this forum, are able to weigh in and give us some realistic insight into the course. The power of this site on full display in these type discussions.
