I think you are striding like 6-12" too far and end up not really shifting "from behind you".

Don't just think about hitting with the elbow, but the whole body, first hit with the hip(Hershyzer) then shoulder(Battering Ram) then elbow then hand then disc. Bring your shoulder forward(not around) closed so elbow stays out to the left of body/shoulder and releases arm/disc out wider to left, and rear leg should counter balance/weight forward behind front leg to right. So your lower body should go / direction while your arm releases \ direction.

You're turning back fully into the rear leg early then just drifting targetward laterally...rather than sliding/shifting targetward while turning back into the rear leg to continually load later and deeper. Your rear leg is basically locked out because of this.

For one leg balance, I like SW's drill where he is on the right leg only and extended backswing, then hops up an inch or two, lands, then swings. The swing will be delayed because of absorbing the landing. But basically if you can hop up and down on one leg your head should be balanced on the leg.

First off I want to say thanks a ton for all the feedback and willingness to help. I realize it takes a lot of time to go through footage, and try to analyze every aspect of someone's throw. You guys are awesome for what you are doing here, sincerely.

I can see and feel some of the problems you are describing, and have been working hard at watching film of myself, and putting it into context of what you are saying and trying to "see what you see." I'd say the most helpful drills so far have been crush the can and hershyzer. I see what they do for my positions, I need more work on slowing down even more to line things up. I need to go painfully slow to get the same feeling as in the drills, I'll keep working on them!

I think you are DEAD ON on the stride being too long, I tried shortening it up and felt a big difference:
(three throws, then the same three in super slowmo. I got a different phone, and it can take much higher fps video)

I know that I still have a ways to go, but this definitely feels a lot more consistent. I see that I am still slightly hugging myself, and need to do more one leg, hershyzer and battering ram. I'll try that last version of crush the can also, with the vertical hop and compression. And you're right I am turning into my backswing too early. I'm going to work on all these drills some more today, thankyou!!

I'd like to see one leg throws from the side. I think you are throwing with body aligned on the left leg and tipping onto and to the side of the plant leg. It's why your left leg is locked out and straight...it's aligned with the spine because your balance stays with the left leg and the right leg just comes out like a kickstand to prevent you from falling face-first during the throw.

That right leg hop then swing drill should help too.

^ Yep. Rear knee is locked out and trying to drive way too late through a planted front side, instead driving off toes with flexed knee before planting the front side.
