It doesnt have the glide of my ions for sure but never notice it "dropping" out of the air. Sounds like sometimes it is a user error

If anything it being a faster putter mold i "glide" by the basket on the damn straightest lines ive seen thrown lol.

How does a N Proxy compare to the Electron plastic? Is it about the same firmness/grip? How slick is it?

It's like Star vs R-Pro in terms of grip. Durability too, really. I don't have any trouble with Neutron plastic in terms of grip, but I do know a few people that don't care for it until it gets seasoned because they say it's too slick.

I know it is somewhat subjective, but which plastic seems to have the best combination (grip, firm, etc)z for putting inside the circle? Btw, I prefer a little firmer plastic and nothing to soft.

Protron-neutron-plasma-n soft. In that order of stiffness. The neutron is a good blend of stiffer and grippy. I like neutron or plasma for putting. The plasma is softer but a tic more grippy. Protron is slick for me.

If all you're wanting is putting, Electron (non-Soft blend) is your best bet. The non-Soft isn't really very firm, but it's still plenty grippy. If you want firm like KC, maybe they'll finalize Electron Firm soon. It looks more on par with the stiffer blends.

I really wish they had it in electron. Just trying to find a substitute in the meantime.

Try an Atom and throw it into a few trees.

The Envy, Proxy, and Atom all have the same core with a slightly different wing/overmold. The differences between an Electron Atom and an Electron would be negligible. If you like the Proxy but don't like the feel of any of the other plastics I would try an Atom.
