Default Bucksnort/Phantom Falls

I am going on a road trip starting at the end of this week. I will be in the Denver area from 8/5-8/7 and was hoping to play both Bucksnort and Phantom Falls, until I read that there is a 4 person minimum. I will be with 1 other person, so we need 2 more to make this happen.

Anyone want to do me a huge solid and play these with me so I get a chance to play them? I'm sure there are a ton of other sweet courses, but I would hate to go through this area and not get to play either of these!

This is assuming that all of those days are not already filled up (I didn't bother calling yet).

Or, if I don't end up getting to play those what do you locals recommend instead?

I am definitely playing Beaver Ranch, and I was thinking Bailey and Ghost Town if I can't get a group for Bucksnort/Phantom. Any others I should consider?

Give me a shout and I can always get a Crew together for those two. Also, check out the foothill flyers Facebook page, those are the guys who live up there.

Killer course, definitely a great time

You could probably pay the fee for the 2 extra players and just play with 2

Oh....I didn't know that was a thing. Doesn't say anything about it on their pages - how much is it?

Well...I was doing some thinking and talking to a friend of mine who is not coming on the trip, and I think I may just pass on these until I can get a group out there. There seem to be enough other amazing courses nearby that I am sure I can get my fix of mountain disc.

This way I will have a reason to come back next year!

So I guess there was no point the thread....but if anyone wants to be my course guide somewhere, shoot me a PM - always nice to play with locals.

Anything other than Bailey, Beaver Ranch, and Ghost Town that is a must play?

Check out conifer and Bailey. Both in the same area(ish) and both amazing too. Can't go wrong with any course up there.

At least contact Paulie at Phantom before you give up. He might be able to work something out with you. When I called him to set something up he was able to put me with a small group that had a rez but were a guy short and were hoping to fill the group. Worked out great.

You probably won't want to pay the donation for 2 extra players because the recommended donation is $20/player. Well worth the $20, but $40 would be pretty steep.
