Default Straight mid with fade for my lineup

Hoi,

it feels like I would have a slot to fill. I'm not sure if I really do and what discs would be appropriate for it.

These are the discs around the missing slot:

- ESP Zone: short drives into a headwind or for the fade
- D-Line P3: straight short drives with a small fade or annies that come back at the end

- ESP Comet: neutral mid for all lines, just without fade

- Champ Teebird: straight to fade
- DX Teebird: straight without fade

For midrange work, I use the Comet and my throwing putters. What the Comet misses is this reliable small fade at the end. When it's a bit windy, I'd like to have that. Thus, what do I do? Throw the P3, which is about perfect (it flies like 2/3/0/1.5 despite its numbers being 2/3/0/3), but doesn't yield the distance I want. What I search is a longer P3.

I could as well throw the Zone, which I would have to throw on a slight S-line to counter the fade, which removes accuracy, and equally, it lacks some distance. Or I power down a Teebird, but driver wings for midrange work doesn't feel right to me. Thus, I think that I have a slot to fill. (If you don't think so -- maybe I should rather work on throwing the P3 farther --, let me know!)

Regarding actual flight numbers, I would want something like 5-6/4-5/0/1-2.

Discs that come to my mind are: Roc, Emac Truth, Warship, MD3, Wasp, Aftershock, Prophecy, ... I have thrown none of them.

I'd favor a flat shallow disc without beat, to ease flicking it. (A Buzzz has not enough fade.)

I'd think the Emac Truth would fit your needs, it is reasonably shallow to flick. Another one that comes to mind is the Suspect from Dynamic Discs. Maybe not exactly the speed you're looking for, but definitely worth a try.

I hate recommending discs from the cult brand, but in this case it seems to fit your needs quite well. The Dynamic Discs Verdict is a straight to fade disc. It flies like a speed 5 Teebird IMO. Decent HSS with a moderate late fade. Don't let the flight numbers fool you, this is not a super overstable disc, its really workable.

Suspect, speed 4 putter-mid range hybrid. I throw the harp here, anything longer and I out the appropriate amount of power on my wasp.

My favorite midrange is a kastaplast K1 Kaxe. It's flight numbers seem to be just what you are looking for, but it is not a perfectly flat disc.

Rocs, Ghosts, Wasps, and Aftershocks will all pair well with the Comet and give you the flight you want. Those also have a relatively similar (beaded) feel in the hand. It is pretty easy to find flat-top Rocs for sale, and most of the Wasps and Aftershocks I've handled are very flat. The Gravity Ghosts (and most of the newer Pinnacles) I've thrown are flat, but other plastics can have a bit more dome than you may want. I dont think you could go wrong with any of those options.

Ignore this. Just noticed you'd prefer no bead.
