I think the jump from the fairways I bag (1.9) to my preferred distance driver width (2.5) is a good spacing. I definitely understand needing something that feels good in the hand, though. It's how I choose my molds.

It's a smidge wider, but maybe it'll feel the same to you? (Don't know if you've already tried it or not....) Check out a review video of just this comparison, brought to you by Evan Jones...

...and James Van Der Beek.

So does that make the 2.0cm Riptide extra rare?

If the moderators are going to remove entire conversations for clarification, will you please also remove post #929 so it doesnt just make me look like a dick completely out of context?

I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Why are you so caught up on rim widths? If you want a Beast, buy a Beast. The Heat is a bomber. So is the Mantis. So is the Zombee.

Im not. I throw bigger rims than the beast at this point. The question was "why is there a gap in their lineup."

The whole idea was somehow lost in translation and rudely shoved aside by those who really should be the very last to do so.

At this point i dont even care for the answer.

I hear you...I was surprised with the Punisher. A 2.2 rim width seemed odd when the Surge and Surge SS are both good discs in that range.

Maybe they're debuting a 2.0 rim for the Ace Race this year? I don't see why you'd need to use that much disc on such a short hole, but the Heat and Mantis were also pretty fast discs for the event, I thought. I'd guess a 7 speed though, now that the XL is gone and only the Xpress remains from the "X" named discs.

The Punisher was a player pack disc this last weekend. I did not grab one, choosing and Undertaker as a backup instead, but the reviews were very positive.
