Default Beaver State Fling

Just wondering if anyone on this forum signed up for this event or not.

If you haven't yet you better do it in the next 15 mins or so.

Whoa. This thing is so hard to get into. I think they are shifting through 400+ registrants and the first 166 to get registered get in. This is an Advanced Am event only! Have you ever heard of this happening?

^And that most of the pros were playing in the Memorial at the time of opening and none got in... so the PDGA had to separate the pros and ams and have them play on two separate weekends so all the pros could get into the NT. (at least that's what I heard).

We have another tournament here in Asheville on the same weekend. The Mountain Sports Festival (of which DG is one of the events). The kick is that the top 4 scores from the weekend get to play "Urban Skins" through the streets of downtown Asheville and have a chance at winning some serious cash ($5,000 one year... probably around 2,000 this year). You Tube "Urban Skins" and check it out (I would add a link but the work server won't let me get to You Tube to get it... stupid NPS server).

If you're not going to Milo... come to Richmond Hill...

I was going to sign up for this one, but with them moving the ams to the same weekend as the KOA Pro/Am Jam, I decided to play that one insted.

OK... I'm at home now so I can link it...
Come to Asheville if you didn't get into the Beaver State Fling.
Top 4 score get a chance to play "Urban Skins" for some decent cash.

Though that looks like fun, it might be a little far away for us people still here on the west coast.
