Default Discgolfers own line of discs

Hmm not the best title for a tread. . but

With the HUGE sales success Discraft have had in 2019 with the Paul Mcbeth line. .. Will we see any other player/brand try this?

And if so which player or brand?

I'm only seeing one disc on Discraft's website that says it was co-produced with Paul McBeth (Luna). Is there any others?

The Paul line is of now:

LUNA
ANAX
KONG/ZEUS

And two more will be out in 2019

So that΄s 3 of the most sold discs in 2019. . .other companys/players HAVE to see this.

Other companIES/players don't have the pedigree that Paul does, so I doubt they would be as successful.

I don’t know that there is another player as marketable as Paul ATM. The Eagle/Simon Discmania this is really interesting and the the fact that they are throwing discs from essentially three companies now could make for an interesting brand statement.

With the Sky God, Cloud Breaker, Shadow Titan etc it would be cool to see if they would do a Huck Boys line type of thing and focus the marketing behind those guys.

Eagle/Simon have the marketability, but it's all about the power of negotiation. In my view, Paul and his agent had already decided that he was not moving without a product line in the deal. Paul also had exceptional timing. Discraft obviously wanted Paul and sought to revitalize their entire brand through the sponsorship. Every company knows what Paul brings to the brand, but I think Discraft's macro goal of becoming "relevant again" worked out well for Paul.

It also helps that their is far more conflict with every other manufacturer in doing this for a single player on their team. Doss was essentially moving on and their other players were not on that top tier level. Nobody really questioned the "fairness" of Paul's product line deal with Discraft. Not sure that would of been the case anywhere else.

I noticed the Paul McBeth logo is actually in the tooling on the rims now as well. Thought that was kind of cool and it made it seem more like his very own line of discs.
