I don't think it will find a spot in my bag, as I have thunderbirds that will cover the shots that I would use the river pro on, but I can see a lot of people turning to this disc as a workhorse.
Thanks for the info. Looking at the Marshall Street Flight Guide, one can see that there are really no Trilogy discs competing in that Teebird/Eagle area. Big gap between the very OS discs and the US discs like the River. So the River Pro is intended to fill that gap, it would appear.

Having said that, I think the Legacy Icon Phenom is going to fill the role I originally hoped the River Pro would. The Phenom is straight flying: starts out with a bit of turn then fades back. My Champion TL will take over the relatively OS duties.

Definitely overstable. Here's a video on it.

First reports I have call it inconsistent. Even against those of similar weight, some were straight, others overstable.

All of the ones I saw yesterday were beefy.

For everyone who wanted a Trilogy Teebird, you now have it. Unforrunately, it is more like the current run of champ teebirds: overstable and with very little glide and a plus rim.

Thanks, but I will stick with Rivals.

That is why I had so much success with it. It flew like my overstable Rivals. I just put a little anny on it and it flew awesome and straight.

Just to be specific, I got a White 175. Not sure if that means anything, but plastic color and weight can make a difference sometimes.

Threw the River Pro at the trilogy challenge today. I throw RHBH. The River Pro was pretty overstable. It didn't have much glide and wanted to sink like a brick. I wasn't a fan. I really liked the Pine, for me it flew further than the River Pro. I can see it working it's way into my bag.

Like banshee Overstable? Or more like an OS teebird?

Im liking the sound of the stability, but not the lack of glide...whats the point of calling it a River Pro if it doesnt have mad glide?

I'm surprised at how many people are calling it glide less. I thought it had a good amount of glide for as overstable as it flew. More glide than the FD2 I normally bag.

So river pro is a crappy sequel to the river....

Remind me of the saint/saint pro incident.
