Kind of a, "I've worked hard for years to get where I am and he just shows up with a deal right away?" I'd be willing to bet he gets stroked more often than not.
Hey, this could be a great thing! If pros are motivated to call foot faults by hate, that's still good. Perhaps it will even flow down to players that are currently using the lack of enforcement to cheat.

Yes, I said cheat.

That's what it is. Pro disc golfers cheat all the time, call them out on it and there are too many who have the "you rules nazi" attitude. Then those same people turn around and wonder why the sport gets no respect thru a major sponsor and/or media.

He's had to work for years to build his brand, which is why he is able to get a deal so soon... and will have to work hard to earn his next deal. Seems to me that these "offended" pros need to learn the old adage, A rising tide lifts all boats.

IMO, they should be doing everything they can outside of competition to help him succeed because it can only help all the players in the long run to have him be successful. It's not surprising that two of DGs more media savvy business people(Paul and Simon) are helping him...

He's self made and got there by throwing frisbees.

Why are you so upset about it?

I'm your huckleberry. How do we define a disc for the bet? A brand new, premium plastic disc of the winner's choice shipped to the winner's location? Or just any disc?

New premium or new-old classic DX. Maybe we provide 3 discs each for the other to choose from. Winner gets choice of 1 of the 3

Or just agree on one disc for each to offer up.

Value will have to be equal.

I would want a Roc or Teebird or Valkyrie or Leopard or old Ching Aviar.

OK. I don't have or know where to get any Ching Aviars, but I'm sure I have or can obtain some of the discs on your list.

If his PDGA rating reaches 1000 at any time this year, I win. If not you win. To be clear, we are talking about his actual rating, as published by the PDGA, averaged out however the PDGA does that for tournament players. A single 1000+ round does not give me the win. He needs to have a published PDGA rating of 1000 for me to take it.

Game on!

See how that works both ways?
