In fact I'm willing to bet a disc he won't be rated 1000 this year at any time.

Bahahaha really going out in a limb there guy! 1000 rated in the first year is the floor of your measure of success? Brutal!

He won't be around the sport in 5 years. Not trying to hate, but he clearly said he wants to see how good he can get, which doesn't really project longevity to me. He has a tweet from Dec 28 that says, "i'm seriously debating seeing how good I can get" which is weird.

I see nothing about what he has done in his career endeavors thus far that says he will actually stick around for more than a couple of years either. He seems like a dude that is genuine but ultimately gets bored and moves on. I wish him the best and all but from what I can see the dude will probably max out under 1000 rated before moving onto something else or bowing out due to injury. Who knows, maybe he devotes his entire life to disc golf for the next decade and beats Paul. Doubtful though.

I think it's cool that a handful of pros are reaching out to give him some pointers. I've always found that open level players aren't so eager to let out their secrets. Could be just be me.

I'm hoping he's filming some of his training and going to let us all see what advice top pros give to a gifted beginner. Also it would be great if he's filming his form regularly to show development. There's definitely scope to see a well recorded montage of improvement from someone who is very likely to have the time and athleticism to put the advice into practice.

If his PDGA rating reaches 1000 at any time this year, I win. If not you win. To be clear, we are talking about his actual rating, as published by the PDGA, averaged out however the PDGA does that for tournament players. A single 1000+ round does not give me the win. He needs to have a published PDGA rating of 1000 for me to take it.

Game on!
If he plays well, it would only take 1 round to get a 1000 rating. lol.. :P

It’s not detailed but his Instagram gave me a glimpse of that from when he started his field work up until the point Emerson handed him a driver to throw, it was only a few throws he posted in that 2 week period but the progress he made in that short amount of time was pretty crazy. He also posted himself throwing a proto type driver in the indoor discraft field. The disc hit the wall but the momentum on it was ridiculous.

I think it's more like "I'm 32 wtf am I going to be doing in my 40s, 50s?" His youtube career is dwindling down, a long standing career in disc golf (playing, media, manufacturing) makes sense imop. Obviously his 2 million subscribers bought him a ticket to the front of the disc golf line, it will be interesting to see how long he stays there.

Wouldn't surprise me if Paul & Simon are getting paid (or just part of the job) to interact with Brodie.
