Default Silly white discs

So, at one point I had quite a few white discs in my bag. It was all fun and games until there was snow on the ground and then you’d almost have to step on them to find them.

So, I dyed a few of them to make them more user friendly from November to April.

This was the first one I did. It was brighter but this disc used to get used a lot and has actually faded a bit.

This was my second attempt. Done around the same time as the previous one but the lucid plastic seems to hold the color better over time.

This VIP plastic took the dye rather well as far as the colors being vibrant but my technique was really lacking and there are many white splotches left where I didn’t get the dye on the disc.

Tried one more failed attempt on a disc I really never threw and it didn’t turn out as planned but it doesn’t look horrible.

Pretty much learned that dying discs isn’t my strong suit. I have a metal flake glow MD3 that could really use some color but I think I’ll pay someone to do that one for me.

Cool stuff! Dyeing isn’t for everyone. At least you tried it and have 3 unique discs you can be proud of!

I just got into dyeing and LOVE it! Same deal too, I ordered some Leopards because I'm going to blow up my form next year and wanted some for practice. They're white X-outs. I looked at them and said, "Heck, why not dye these?" Became quickly obsessed.

Just what I need, another excuse to hoard plastic!

I tried the IDye Poly with shaving cream at first and had good enough results to hook me. Then I got some worm dip and cocoa butter lotion and lots of Gold Line and Fuzion plastic. Oh, my, the vividness...I'd consider doing this on bigger rectangular pieces of plastic and selling them at music festivals and whatnot. I like going for Rohrschack results (I'll spell it that way as a nod to Al Schack!), nebulosities, and they're fun to stare at especially when enjoying something that no longer makes you a criminal in the great state of Michigan.

I'm going to try and put a photo of a Fuzion Deputy I did about a month ago. I haven't tried doing this on DGCR in awhile and remember having difficulties. (I was state of the art in 1992). Wish me luck!

Yeah, that didn't work. I think I have to upload it to an outside source first? Don't really have time to figure that out this morning. Talk about a tease here! Sorry...

Yes, you have to upload it somewhere, then link it.
PM me if I can help.
I have found the best method is to upload to a DGCR album and then link it from there.
Not sure if you have that option, not being a premium member.
Anyways, PM me if I can help.

Would imgur work? I think I need that to post more than one picture on Reddit too.

You just need to paste the image URL (in this case, https://i.imgur.com/kPtqIOw.jpg) into the insert image tool.

I thought I tried that.

Sorry to defile your thread with all of these attempts, OP!
