Default Sexton Firebirds

Why are Sexton Firebirds worth so much on the secondary market? I have a 2016 Glow Champion version and see them going routinely for around $100. Can somebody shed light on this for me? Thanks.

Simple supply and demand. It was a limited run in the early years - it's not like 2019 or 2020 where anyone who wants to buy one will be able to.

Thanks. I kinda thought it was that simple but it never hurts to ask, right?

Nate said in his recent Reddit AMA that his favorite is the 2015, mostly because it was the first and he's just used to them.

Don't go down that road. I'm sure a production Star Firebird with the right dome & weight will fit that role less than $20.

Some people got more money than sense. That said, if I had em, heck yeah I’d sell em for that much.

Plus you can always find newish color glows that dudes have dumped in used bins after local tourneys. I have 3 in storage from the recent flat embossed runs. I paid $33 total for all 3.
