Like this? (It's the reverse side of the Deputy. I like to dye both sides of Discs.)

Thank you!

I like the random nebulous effect personally, so that's what I go for. Worm dip, cocoa butter lotion on top of scrunched cellophane, and gold line/star/etc. plastic.

I like to experiment with different media when I do the reverse side. That empty splotch with the dark red dot near the center there is a half eggshell filled with red dye and allowed to crush when I put my weights on it. I've also tried bread smothered with dye in lotion and it had the effect similar to what you see on Ray1970's Warship earlier in the thread.

I've only done five so far with the worm dip. Just found a misprint white tournament Harp for $10.99 shipped directly from Dynamic last night. Looking forward to my first-ever Harp! (Even if it's not in base plastic).

Which worm dip did you use? I looked into using worm dye, but all the local fishing shops sell only scented worm dye, and I really don't want to make my disc bag and car trunk stink. The only online non-scented worm dye I could find was pretty outlandishly priced, and was from websites that I'd never heard of.

No worries on cluttering my thread. Have at it. Maybe I’ll learn something or be inspired along the way.

I’ve wanted to try the worm dip as it seems brighter, more vibrant colors are possible compared to the Rit Idye Poly I was using.

Reddit's r/discdyeing has a wiki pinned at the top, and in there is a link to where I got mine. It was about $7/bottle. I only got primary colors (red, blue and yellow) and when they mix you get a vast array of other colors.

It was lurepartsonline.com, 4 oz Quick Coat Worm Dip, unscented of course!

(Hope that worked!)

Oh, and so far I've done 5 Discs front and back, so ten dyeing sessions. I've liberally applied the dye with small syringes and I'd say each bottle is still 2/3 or 3/4 full. You can do a lot of dyes with this stuff.
