^^^people were sleeping on those though.. no one threw them but like 5 of us on here lol.. I never wanted to put up the $ for a stripper striker. The opto plastic IMO was even a little more gummy they just felt SOOO nice in the hand with no flash either.

I still have one of those super flat, crystal clear yellow snowflakes. Only thrown it in a field once or twice, but it's like my #1 disc to just sit at home and fondle. For whatever reason it really, really feels good in my hand and I WANT to resonate with this disc. But I think I was turned off by the fact that Strikers today fly nothing like my snowflake, and I didn't want to get too attached- so it's mostly a wall hanger because it's really, really beautiful opto plastic. I remember when I had a river in this color / feel opto and I LOVED it.

Yeah, I've got a couple old Strikers that are simply awesome. But they are the old brown/mud color and the dark red that both disappear in the woods. I should probably either throw them or sell them at this point.

I currently bag a flat GL that has been in the bag for a few years. It bombs the twice a year I throw a good FH. And it now has enough wiggle to show every FH form flaw I have.

i've seen people talking about stripper strikers and snowflake strikers . . . i assume snowflake strikers are just strikers with some weird indentation?

saw a couple with a bird on them instead. what's up with that? a new stamp or what?

my buddy let me toss his striker yesterday; i hadn't thrown one for almost two years. magical.

yeah snowflake pattern was caused by how the discs were removed from mold when cooling and made them "FAF" with little ripples in the flight plate.. the new stamp is the one with the bird' I believe strippers are a bit more OS and harder opto plastic.

there also are older flat opto strilers which have some streaks that run out from the center nipple that kind of LOOK like a snowflake but that's not actually what a real snowflake striker is-- now THAT was confusing to sort out initially as they both were around at the same time and very flat top/same colors lol.

That's what I was always led to believe, but I've heard I'm wrong as well. I thought I had the snowflak-iest snowflake of the snowflakes with this bad boy!

Are the newer ones like a Saint or Escape with less glide?
