Maybe I wasn't very clear in the video. I actually have to externally rotate the shoulder at the end of the throw to compensate for my wrist being unable to supinate at all. Its basically in a constant state of pronation. I don't think there's any way I can really use my index finger because my wrist needs to be more supinated so that my hand is more "under" the disc. I'm basically compensating by having most of my hand on top of the disc so that it can remain pronated. I'm never going to have an ideal grip with this limited range of motion probably.

External shoulder rotation is going to make you more prone to injury/dislocation. Supination is not really needed during the throw especially at the end - where you should be pronated. Your nose issue is happening because of your spine tilt and shoulder being high.

I made some good progress today in getting my elbow out more in front. Easily adds 50' of distance. I was mostly just goofing around in a park with mids and putters, but I was able to get them to 250' with seemingly no effort and more accurately whenever I got the elbow out in front.

Had a huge breakthrough today in form. Really the only thing I changed was striding towards the target straight with my shoulders staying facing the target with my hips bent over more (in my mind like schustericks form) . Then I would turn for my reach back as my plant foot came down and I actually felt the shift from behind! Almost every shot I was ending balanced on my plant leg. I only measured a couple throws but was getting putters out to a little over 300. It felt amazing. When I get more time I'll get a video as I still sometimes struggled with opening the shoulders too early and rounding occasionally.

Oh definitely. Especially when I was able to not hug my body and get my elbow out front. Accuracy definitely improved overall, but I still end up pulling some left (I'm LH) because I get overeager with my shoulder. I think the biggest issue was just that I was reaching back early which screwed up everything in the timing. Now I really feel planted solidly on my plant foot during the throw. I'm excited to throw some drivers as I basically was only throwing putters and mids.

Lol, you might get frustrated because your drivers probably won't go as far as you think they should.

Probably true, lots of things to consider like nose angle. Being frustrated is a given, but giving up is not gonna happen I want to make it to that 400' consistent mark.

Uhhnegative. I feel i have the same problem as u. I reach back to early. How did u get rid of that? And when u say you have your shoulders facing the target, do u mean your left shoulder since you are lefthanded.

I mean that you could draw a straight line going through both my shoulders and the target. It's only as you start your last stride when you turn your body back and then shoulders and hips snap back into place with hips initiating the movement back (and the hip clears) as the arm flies out across your chest toward the target. Look at Will Schusterick driving to see how his shoulders are pointed toward the target until the last step. It's also important to note he's bent at the hips in an athletic position and this helps immensely with balance.
