I would say the Portland area is pretty good. Bay Area is CA. is great too. Assuming your on or want to travel to the west coast. Although, didn's someone mention that Iowa had a ton within a small proximity?

Iowa is a small state with a lot of courses, but most are 9 holers I believe. Personally I prefer at least 18 holes. It's stuck in my head that 18 is a "full" round, and while you can just play 9 holes twice, the variety would not be there for me.

I like where I live (Norfolk, Virginia Beach area). There are some good courses here, and within a days drive. Also I can zip up to DE, Philly, northern VA, WV, DC, or down to Charlotte in a good weekend trip. Now if only I could get the wife to go for it......

Someplace in Wisconsin I'm sure.

Sorry - never played in Dallas so I just don't know what's there.
Waterloo? I think you mean Des Moines. Austin, TX is also missing from that list. That someplace in Wisconsin is probably the Fox Cities area (Appleton).

Here are the few 'disc golf hot spots' that I know about, or have experienced:

Cincinnati, OH (30 courses in the area, with 3 amazing ones - Idlewild, Banklick, Mt Airy)
Bowling Green, KY (10 courses in this area, many good ones)
Portland, OR (several really great courses - Milo McIver, Pier Park etc)
Washington DC (Quite a few good ones in this area, but they are spread out)
Nashville, TN (several really nice courses - Cedar Hill, Sharp Springs, Seven Oaks, Sanders Ferry)
Huntsville, AL (4 or 5 good courses in a small area)

Louisville KY isn't bad. Iroquois Park, Charlie Vettiner, Freeman Lake and Radcliff DGC.

I agree on two of the 4 so far and after tomorrow I hope to have played Iroqouis too. I played the Fun Farm today and I would throw that into the mix for Louisville as it is only like 25 minutes away.
