I think the shape of the putter matters more, I can putt with my K3 Berg with the same form and power as my K3 Reko and the Berg definitely bounce out more often. Also the shape of a putter can alter the angle of release even if you hold them with the same grip. A nose up hyzer putt will have little chance to stick to the left side in comparison to a flat or anhyzer putt.

The Star Spider I have is just so clutch when it comes to windy days. I've heard not use premium plastic, but I stick with what works best.

I heard something like a star spits out more often or doesnt "grab the chains".
I have seen players use Specialty plastic (from manufacters words) in the from of the Gumputt and Blowfly or smething like G9i Wizard plastic but yeah not many unless you count my cousin putting with Champion Rhyno's he did the hot car method too for a year. The players I have seen use more other premium plastic for Approach/Driver plastic. I have seen players use G Star for a putting putter as that can if made right be less bouncy then regular Star.

Really windy days I will use a Star Shark, even over my old Pro plastic Shark that I will use first for windy putts both at about 175 grams most of the putters out on markets max weight. I might get a G Star Shark for approach shots as well as windy day putts but not really heavy winds that work ks the way I use my Pro once the Pro becomes US and not what I want from a Shark. I like Shark because it flies like a putter and has the more Magnet (Jawbreaker 2 and a old 2005 Stiff Pro D) like rim to it. Yeah I could use a Hydra for the same purpose but the Hydra would be for only approach shots as the disc shape of wing is not good for the driving putter slot unlike the Star Shark.

I have seen an uncle use the DX Spider as his main putter and another Uncle who started a year almost exactly after I did in 2004 use the Spider in Star as his short midrange to approach disc, he might have changed from the Spider to the Star Gator or Champion Stud as it works better in the wind .

why do aces over 300ft with premium plastic 9 speed+ drivers stick but some 10ft putts with the worlds softest putter plastic doesnt

only so much you can blame on the arrow and the rest is the archer

I love Fluid plastic. Fluid Judge is the best putter I've ever used. They're hard to so I'm careful not to lose it. I like that it's hard but flexes. Very durable and pretty grippy too. My wife just got an XT Colt and I love the feel of that plastic, so if I ever lose my Judge, I may try it out.

I disagree. If the plastic isn't dinging or gouging, then it's coming off the chains with less friction.

Baskets/targets also have sweet spots and weak spots.

Yeah but the person was saying that he has a cleaner putt with premium plastic, this is true to a point as some stiffer plastics like KC or similar types of stiff plastic in the mid grade plastics for a company can work just as well and not get super dinged up quick but still have a clean enough release for consistant putting. I however prefer a soft putter that ia not too soft that is not a super bouncy plastic. I use for main putter a Jawbreaker Magnet and yes that is soft but the plastic is not bouncy but rather a soft that tends to sit. R-Pro if made wrong can be either too soft or too bouncy, I like how it molds up normally for the Hydra and the ones I have felt in a store. Now another putter I have is the #2 Upshot in Prostyle and that is soft and at times can be bouncier then I would like but is not bouncy the way Star and ESP is or regular stiff Pro sometimes can be for putters.
