Hopefully they drop the grove and dominator. All they need if the Ape, Boss, Shryek, and Katana. Does anyone throw the Vulcan?

I have met people on the course that throw Vulcans, so there are a few aficionados out there. The Dominator is not a bad disc, IMHO. Dunno why it never caught on (I'm sure the education will be coming soon...).

But yes, the Groove has a special place on the DG course... mostly in the bottom of the lake or in the various trash cans along the course. YMMV on that...

The Dominator that I had was a glideless OS piece of crap when thrown any way I could think of. The Groove makes a useful FH teacher as well as an awesome OH disc. Vulcans are a wired disc to throw unless you throw like the "Live long and prosper" gesture. Here's to hoping for the Savant, Mystere, and Vroc3 to be released fully as well as a production run of Discmania's PDx, preferably in G-Line.

My Blizzard Dominator is not going to win any glide contests, either. But it comes out of my hand and gets downrange faster than any other disc I've thrown. LOL on the Vulcan. My GStar Vulcan flies well; I might throw it some in the winter cold. The VRoc3 will be fairly interesting, though my Shimmer Star Mystere has disappointed me, so far. What are the Savant's flight numbers?

Savant is a 9, 5, -1, 2. Flies similar to a OS Thunderbird. Pretty close to a Star but maybe a little less glide IMO. I have a star and a G* Thunderbird and use the Savant almost like i would a new PD which would cut in a little sooner than my Star Thunderbird. Still trying to figure out where it fits in my bag if it does. I only have it in Champ plastic for now. Hope that helps!

I throw the Vulcan for most longer uphill drives. The speed plus understability keeps it moving on up.

I rarely use it on flat ground. Even for flips I find it too angle sensitive for my level of play.

This. I wanted to like the Dominator. I love the Boss, and when the Dominator came out I was excited. However, after some throws with it I can honestly say I've never been more disappointed in a disc. It flies like a dinner plate. No real speed, glide or distance. I'm no fan of the Groove either, but I'd still rather throw it than a Dominator.

Hit or miss on Vulcans. I've thrown a couple that are among the longest discs I've ever thrown. Some are too flat and lack glide, however.

New stuff: Star Shryke coming out. Christmas Champion Thunderbirds, also. And hats, patches, clothes, etc.

So apparently Innova doesn't realize what can make them tons of money and what is completely redundant and pointlessly useless. I would like to see some Mysteres, Savants, and VRoc3s, as well a full release of Discmania's PDx.

Keep hope alive that those will come in due time.

I just wonder if the Star Shryke is being released because:
a) it was planned this way all along,
b) sales of the GStar Shryke have been good,
c) sales of the GStar Shryke have NOT been good,
d) someone accidentally used the wrong plastic formula...
