Default Ithaca, NY - Best within 1.5 hours?

I'm making a trip from July 6-11 with my girlfriend. Gonna play something on the way, something on the way back, and TC3 Panther. I can hit Panther in the morning while she's sleeping in a couple of times. So that'll rock. But I need someplace I can hit one other time - I've got some leeway to drive an hour or so out one of the days and take a day to throw.

So... best course? Best couple of courses really close together? I prefer par 4's and 5's if I can find them - so I'm not just looking for pretty. Just fair, some room to open up the arm and play placement golf. Pretty would definitely help though.

I enjoyed playing emerson while vacationing in ithaca, but disc golf took a back seat to hiking and swimming in the state parks, not to mention the breweries. OMG.

I'm actually moving there the week you're visiting and am preparing for a severe case course withdrawal. I'll be driving back to Rochester often The only course worth playing in the Ithaca area is TC3 Panther Highlands as you've already figured out.

Otherwise, I'd drive up to Syracuse and you can play Clay DGC which I think is the best course in that area. It's pretty slim pickings overall.

Rock Mountain in PA is a beautiful and fun course in the Poconos. It's a bit on the short side overall, but has a couple long par 4s. You can also make your own tees longer on some holes.

If you stretch your distance out another 1hr east you could go to Frost Valley or Mine Kill, both are awesome!

Drive a little farther and hit Parma in Rochester. You're welcome in advance.
