Yeah, grabbing door frame too high and not getting more butt lead.

Is the high door frame related to spine tilt? Just looking at the above image, correcting your spine tilt to look like SWs will automatically put your arm lower on the door frame.

More butt lead would correct the tilt which would correct the high backswing?

I think you're right. I'll take a video walking through it and see how it looks.

I have yet to get some video that is improved, I'm not getting the spine tilt correct. It's hard for me as I have issues with throwing too high and nose up so it feels counterproductive. I think this change will actually fix that issue though and also prevent some of the excess knee bend and soft bracing I'm always good for.
I did wanna look at reach back height though since I thought that was part of my issue. I think from these images we see no matter how high the arm goes, the spine must achieve a tilt within the range of acceptability like Mocheez said . Here's a high v low reach, Rick v Paul (classic right?) this is from the same hole and almost the same angle. The lines aren't perfect but close enough. |

Closer, Better, Warmer. I saw some much better flights today even with this still being pretty flawed. A little easier to get the nose down. Better distance. Not magic fix, but small progress. I’ll be working on these ideas of posture and shift this week. Need to get my right foot down sooner and crush the can to brace so I stop comin over the top. Maybe get just a little more shoulder turn.

I’m beginning to think winter isnt the time to try and change things with the snow and ice everywhere. I ditched the pendulum for a day. No noticeable change in how the disc flew. I’ll probably go back for the time being. Just trying to be more horizontal and less vertical given my body.

Swing/extend elbow/lower arm/disc wide out to left away from body <----.
You are pulling/retracting inward across your body to right ----> https://www.dgcoursereview.com/forum...d.php?t=132910 |

Correct.
Note how my stance is more open while my pelvis/shoulders are more closed so I'm more wound up/coiled. Note how my whole rearside is stacked/loaded, rear hip/shoulder depth making a longer swing. Don't worry about leading with the elbow or bending it, or putting the disc into a position, just toss something heavy and swing back and forth letting go of the arm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8U00VMoYnJQ#t=1m3s |
