Oh yeah. For a while anyway. You know what always happens to bio.

Biggest problem with that disc is finding them in colors that I can actually see. Most seemed to be died with ground pine straw.

Most of my bag is pretty mainstream, at least "DGCR mainstream." That's cuz you guys have helped me figure out my bag more than anyone else.

So I'd say Polecat, or Relay, or Ion, or Comet, but there are plenty of cool kids around here who throw those.

Probably the real surprise in my bag is a Star Beast. I found one a couple years ago and was surprised by how useful it is for me. In 175g Star, with a little dome, it's got enough high speed stability to be useful forehand. The glide is also awesome, making it useful for hyzers that I want to travel fairly far laterally. It's surprisingly susceptible to even slight headwinds and crosswinds, but as long as I avoid those it's great. I've since acquired a few more, and there are definitely some duds out there. But I think it's a surprisingly good mold, and speed 10 is probably about right for my arm speed backhand, and allows some touch forehand.

Dad has the old DX 170-172 gram Hydra for water shots as well as one of his driving putters. The other is a Rubber putter but that is better for a putting throw type approach disc as he uses that disc due to how the Rubber Putter can warp a tad if thrown hard enough or in windy conditions simply because of how domed the disc top is. So no not an odd disc the Hydra and plenty on here use the dis for a water disc.

My brother uses a Wahoo for a max distance driver/max distance wind at back disc as well as a water disc even though he has a Dragon as well. The Dragon might get pulled from his bag as it is near the end of its life.

Krait. It's my main driver and has a ton of glide when it gets broken in.

I'm surprised the Krait was never more popular. I've seen a couple of them around through the years, but that's it. I personally thought they flew well, like a glidier, mellower Wraith.

If the Krait had been introduced before the Wraith it would be wildly popular. Instead, too many people think the Krait is redundant and don't throw it.

The Krait was like the Teedevil and the Viking in that it got 'caught up' between other molds. I always liked the Krait for its straight drives then dump fade.

I dunno if it would've ever surpassed the Wraith, but if they'd come out with a Star Krait or even Pro, etc., the Krait might've done better. Alas, not even Paul McBeth could make the Krait a popular seller.

I use a SERPENT a lot and nobody else has even heard of it. I trust and love the ALIAS a ton and barely anyone around here has heard of it. I wouldn't say these are discs people don't like, just ones people aren't aware of.

Also the INSANITY

I had a terrible first experience with the Krait. It was in champion plastic, and I would have given it the same numbers as a Max. Maybe I should try one in G*.
