I would love too see video coverage like this one of a today's round:

... probably just once, but still.

Would it need commentary? Don't know ... probably only Tyler. That would be fun! :-)

Looking at you, CCDG!

Barsby and his Iron Leaf video is classic.

I also learned a fair bit about FH from Mark Ellis and videos back in the day, which is funny since my throwing style didn’t end up like his at all.

Well, I mean it would be fun to go out and play back when the sport was new and blossoming. Nowadays I've got stacks of plastic, multiple disc bags, specific disc golf shoes, disc towels, tons of courses to pick from etc etc. Back in the 80s people just played with what they had and pushed the sport because they had real passion for it. I miss the simple times when it wasn't about crushing discs 500+ ft. Even in the competitions players seem to be enjoying themselves more. It's a stark contrast to watching a Major event these days. Everybody's so serious and stuff. Reminds me too much of ball golf :P

Sounds like you might have been victim to the #growthesport hype a few years back which in my opinion was one of the most impressive business moves I've ever seen. It lead to alot of plastic being moved around. 99% of it players probably didn't even need. I fell for it and at one point had 100s of new discs just sitting around. From time to time I also need to re-juice my enjoyment for the game, and at that point nothing better than just taking 1-3 discs and going on a hike in the woods. Course or no course. lol..
