Just saying the micro bubbles make the discs more OS to the point they are like a flat top Star version of the same Destroyer disc. I know as my brother I got him for Christmas some by accident micro bubble regular weight Champion Destroyers and his was as OS as a Flat top star version, his 2 were the low to normal original Star dome. He could not use the molds as they were basically an oop TeeRex, I even got the 165-169 gram weight range and they had the average Plate height for Champion, even mine have a taller height in that spot.

The other is a Lighting #2 Upshot simply the Innova XD molds had just replaced for the XD+ so I could not get a mold I tried from a friend a few months before and the Colt was 10 years away. XD+ feels off from an XD and Colt because even though the Colt is a + nosed XD, the Colt has a slightly wider nose so as to keep the proportions more correct to an XD type feel unlike an
XD +.

i've never thrown a disc that feels or flies like an XD. that was my first putter and it will never come out of my bag. so good for easy turnovers and i like the shallow profile.

are they only running the XD+ now? good thing i have a stack of older XD's. let me know if you need one, i could let one or two go

Uh, I'd hang on to those dreadlock. I'm pretty sure the XD is OOP. It's still on the Innova site but nobody has them for sale.

I Have the #2 Upshot so I am good and used to that mold specifically. I also do not need the XD as I am now using the Shark mainly Star for Driving putter, approach disc as well as Pro more for a long putt run, and a windy day putter Pro here as well if winds are up beyond what my putter can do but not too high. Both Star and Pro Shark are ~175 grams. The Pro is more neutral in flight.

Yes as of the late 2000's the Innova factories have only run the XD+ but you can find in threads on DGCR that Latitude 64 might be making a similar disc soon to the XD.

They found some in the Innova actual warehouse but they sold out as soon as they were put up on the Innova Disc Golf Pro Shop site earlier this year in mid summer. The Innova main site also still has the Mako that has been discontiued for 2-3 years now and the Wombat that has just disappeared from production. You do have to search for the XD, it is not like it is just on the Innova Disc page with all the molds on it. The Shark 3 just disappeared off that main page so I think if that mold can go then so could the Wombat of that main disc page. Yeah since late 2000's the XD has not been in production and since the mid 2000's the mold was a low production run disc. Either the XD molds got retooled to the XD+ that was a mold in production all ready or the XD molds ended up where they had to get retooled to an XD+ all ready in production by that point as Innova could not replicate the old XD mold in fixing the old molds.

Heck yeah, if someone handed me an $81 bill for a DX plastic disc I'd sell it in a heartbeat. Especially since the Colt has the exact same flight numbers, for whatever that's worth.

i think it was 2011 that the XD+ came out so they were making them up until then at least. i still saw new ones sold for at least a few years after that (old stock) but not anymore.
