Default Opto Pain vs Glow Champ Roc3

I'm debating trading in some of my discs because I just lost my job and can't afford to add the molds I want without trading in.

I have both of these discs right now and I am wondering if I should trade one of them? Do these 2 overlap? I've checked inbounds and Marshall street, and one chart said the pain was more over stable, the other said the opposite.

Is it worth it to carry both? Do they cover similar flight paths and shots?

Help a brother out.

Pains are one of the Latitude orginal molds they put out with the core/fuse as an over-stable beaded compliment and also what I would assume was to compete with discs like the roc.

They are pretty similar in feel and flight really. I imagine your glow roc3 would be very easy to sell or trade but generally rocs are readily available and could be cheaper given the DX options.

FTFY.

I do agree you could get more from selling your Glow Roc, and the Pain is a great mold. You can't go wrong with either.

Latitude (tomas) used to post on DGR back in the early days of latitude.

While its often disputed on DGCR if the pure, fuse and pain have a bead-- they do.

Fair enough, but I think saying it has a bead is misleading. It has less of a bead than something like the Mace, which is more comparable in feel to the Roc than the Pain. That's the point I'm trying to make.

FWIW my Opto Pain and my glow champ Roc3 feel virtually identical in my hand.

Have you thrown either? That should give you an indication on which you prefer.

I've thrown them both a handful of times, but not enough to determine how similar they are. And with my skill level I'm not sure I'll be able to feel them out fully until later on.

My buddy and I play together all the time. He's a total Innova guy and he loves the Roc3. I throw the Pain. I swear everytime I pull out my pain at the teebox he pulls out his Roc3 and vice versa. There is definitely overlap there.

I mean if you own them both just go play a 2 disc round and throw both at each tee and lie. You have the free time when you're not job searching. Just keep the one you felt more comfortable with. Should be easy considering the pain is much smaller diameter and feels completely different in hand to me.

Not being rude just seems odd you're asking how they fly when you own both. You know your game best. If you're worried about value, the roc3 is worth more money long run id bet
