Default Concrete Pad Moving

We had a work day at Nevin Park in Charlotte NC. Going to be one of the 3 US Doubles courses. We didn't think it was possible to move a tee pad but we did and it looks GREAT! It was totally unplanned too and we pulled it off. Let me know if you need advice on your own move. Its near the end of the video of the work day.

We poured a similar sized pad 12 x 6 the same day and it took 38 bags of 80lb quickcrete. So thats a 3000 LB 3.5" thick pad we moved on logs with a tow chain.

That's pretty cool, I'd like to see that. Did you say there was a video somewhere?

The crew at Seneca succesfully moved some of the old concrete tees to the new locations, they needed to be cut in half but it went pretty quick using a Bobcat. You could argue whether the old tees there were worth moving but when you compare that with the amount of effort (and concrete) involved in building a brand new tee it was far easier.

Good for you, the ancient Egyptians would be proud. I hope you put back a few cold ones afterward.

Nice work, I'm surprised it didn't crack rolling on the logs. I've moved my shed around the yard the same way, but with 6" PVC pipe. I think it's so awesome the amount of work people volunteer to do up-keep and improvements to their local Disc Golf courses. Name another sport where the guys spend their weekend working on the park for free?
