Default "Back in the day" question...

I've only been playing about 6 years, but I always find the discussions of early disc golf interesting...

So I was wondering, how have disc prices changed over the years? It seems like disc companies are trying to increase profits now off of premium plastic lines, but what did the early Aeros and first run Rocs cost back in the 80's and 90's? Was this always such a cheap sport?

$8 for a Cyclone when they first came out. And that was the new premium plastic of the day.

Thanks. That's what I was guessing, but I wanted to get the input of the people that were buying discs back then.

biscoe is right. I don't recall there being anything other than DX back in 93. I was paying $6-$7 for Innova discs at that time.
